Mario Reyes

Mario Reyes is an adjunct professor at Florida International University (FIU) whose class material included prompting students to answer that Israel practices terrorism while calling it self-defense.

According to a photo circulating online, Reyes asked students on a quiz, “In which country did the Zionists purchase land to create their new homeland?” and “When Israelis practice terrorism, they often refer to it as,” with multiple choice answers. The answer to the last question, for example, was meant to be “self-defense,” meaning, to answer correctly, students had to claim Israel practices terrorism but calls it self-defense.

He also claimed that “terrorism began with two Zionist organizations.” 

Not only is Reyes a professor, his FIU page appears to claim is affiliated with the Department of Defense. A screenshot from his LinkedIn also has the United States Department of Defense named on it.

FlU reportedly investigated Reyes over the material, but decided not to discipline him.
